digitalmarketing
Digital marketing covers every technique used to make a brand, a product or a service known through digital channels: search engines, social media, online advertising, email and content.
I have worked on these channels for eight years — a media agency in Montreal, communications for a Parisian palace hotel, freelance projects and marketing management for a hotel group. This page is the starting point: it explains the overall logic, then links to each channel in detail.

what it actually does
A digital setup always answers three questions: who do I want to reach, where is that audience, and how do I measure whether it works. Everything else — formats, platforms, tools — follows from those answers.
That is the big difference with traditional channels: every action leaves a measurable trace, so you can adjust continuously instead of waiting for the end of a campaign to see the results.
the channels I work with
No channel works alone. Search builds lasting visibility, advertising accelerates, social media creates the relationship, and UGC feeds all of it with credible content. A strategy decides in which order, and with what budget.
the jobs and the paths
SEO, paid media, community management, growth, content creation, consulting: digital marketing is not one job but a family of jobs, with very different entry points.
In my case, learning happened through practice: media planning first, then brand content, then search and generative AI. Every new skill answered a real project need, never the other way around.
